I make this vegetarian chili taco salad with my homemade three bean chili. Make this dish your own by using your favorite chili recipe! Don't be fooled if you think chili over salad sounds weird, it's tex-mex bliss in a bowl!

Ingredients
7-8 cups chopped romaine lettuce
2 cups prepared three bean chili
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
⅔ cup crushed tortilla chips
¼ sour cream
12 pickled (jarred) jalapeno slices (or other pickled vegetable)
Instructions
In 2 large salad bowls, layer ingredients starting with romaine, chili, cheddar, and ending with crushed tortilla chips.
Top with a dollop or drizzle sour cream.
Garnish with jalapeno slices.
